Hello all,
Filming has now wrapped on episode 1 of Future Perfect, and the editing and post production will soon begin. With any luck we will have both episodes done and ready to screen in the next few months. Stay tuned for more updates. The first episode was directed by Tim Dunn

*UPDATE MAY 15 '09*

Hello all! Sorry for the scant updates of late, it's been a rather long haul on production, as was to be expected. Overcoming unseen obstacles and soldiering on. Episode 1 has one more scene to shoot, and once that is finished and into editing and voice overs and music edits done on episode 2, then we shall have the first two Future Perfect episodes completed at which point the famed screening shall take place. As you are all aware, we plan on screening the first two episodes, before continuing filming on the others, so as to have something concrete to look back to as we continue on our adventure in indie new wave film making.Once episode 1 is complete, we shall upload some screen grabs from the episodes, and there will likely be a new trailer for that first episode as opposed to the teaser from episode 2 which came out last year.
Stay tuned, and of course all help and contributions are welcome. Thanks for sticking with us, it'll be worth it in a couple of months.

*UPDATE JULY 18 '08*

Shooting on episode 1, the pilot has been underway for the past week now, so things are moving along. There will be a short break in filming over the summer break, to recommence from the end of august/beginning of september. Episode 2 is edited and is awaiting post work and a few pick up scenes. The screening will now be postponed until the final pilot episode is completed, post, music and all, and will hopefully screen with extracts from episode 2, or possibly both complete episodes. CASTING: Due to various circumstances and scheduling difficulties, the role of 'David' has been recast. George Young will now be playing the role. Peter Cadwell may still be on board but as a supporting character. Find a photo and details here

After a few techincal difficulties and scheduling, the edit is moving along again. And to attest to that fact, find the new promo from episode 2 below. Once the edit has been completed, we will notify everyone of the date of the preview screening. Episode 1 is in pre-production. Stay tuned.

A quick update on the state of things. The edit has hit delays, and so what we are now aiming to do is to have a showcase screening, which is essentially a promo reel of episode 2 with a few other trailers etc for other VH projects. Hopefully the showcase will be in the next couple of weeks, again will keep you informed as it progresses.

*UPDATE APR 29 '08*

Some delays in editing due to scheduling, but it's at a rough cut stage, minus the last few scenes to be shot. This of course pushes the screening back a bit, but updates on that shall be made as it progresses. In other casting news, Naomi Ncube is playing the supporting role of Chrissy, who makes her first appearance in episode 1, and then recurs in later episodes. More news soon.
